KANSAS HOUSING RESOURCES CORPORATION’S JENNIFER SEXSON ACCEPTS NASCSP AWARD

Topeka Kansas – March 3, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) is pleased to announce that Community Services Block Grant Program Manager, Jennifer Sexson, was selected to receive the 2015 Marjorie J. Witherspoon NASCSP Award. This award is bestowed upon current or former members of National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP) for length of service and/or significant support to NASCSP.

NASCSP provides three different awards each year to individuals who have provided outstanding contributions on behalf of the Association. One of those awards includes the Marjorie J. Witherspoon NASCSP Award. The recipient of this award, through his or her leadership, must have shown exceptional or significant service to or support for NASCSP, as well as a positive vision and continuing commitment to NASCSP activities for at least five years. Sexson has served as NASCSP’s treasurer for four years. She is currently the Program Manager of the Kansas Community Services Block Grant and has been with KHRC for nine years.

Sexson accepted a plaque at the Awards Luncheon on Thursday, February 26, 2015, during the NASCSP Mid-Winter Training Conference in Arlington, Virginia. Congratulations to Jennifer for being selected for this prestigious award.
