Senator Roberts Announces $361,000 Grant for Housing in Leavenworth

WASHINGTON, DC - July 21, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) announced a $361,000 grant for housing in Leavenworth.

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) will provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons.

The funds were awarded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
